Pds Beauty Salon is over in Rohini Sector 7, specifically at A 1/38 on the 7/8 Dividing Road. If you are looking for us, we are right near the M2K cinema and across from the row of cycle shops. It’s a very local spot. You can hear the sounds of the cycles being repaired and the traffic on the main road all day. Our salon is a simple one-room setup mostly, where we do all the usual things like haircuts, facials, and threading. We have the big mirrors on the walls and those black salon chairs that spin around. It’s a practical space. We don’t have any expensive decorations or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the combs clean and the scissors sharp. The neighborhood people are our main regulars. They drop in while they are out running errands or after they finish work. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather or things happening in Rohini while we work on someone’s hair. It’s a bit of a social spot in that way. When it gets hot in Delhi, the shop is a nice place to sit for a half-hour. We try to keep the floor swept up, but on busy days, the hair piles up fast. We just do our best to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s just us doing our daily work. There is always something to do, from cleaning the glass to mixing hair dye.
