People around Pitampura usually just know us as Ideas Interior Designer And Architects, and we’ve been working out of our shops at KD Market for a good number of years. It is Shop No 14-16, right across from Sargam, and most people around here know the area well because the Kohat Metro Station is just a short walk away. Our daily routine is mostly filled with meetings and looking over floor plans that we have printed out. The office has a lot of activity, especially in the afternoons when people stop by to ask about changing a room layout or picking out materials for a new project. We do a mix of architecture and interior design, so one day might be spent arguing over where a wall should go and the next is about where to put the lights. It’s a practical workspace, not some glossy showroom you see in magazines. There are samples of wood or stone sitting around, and sometimes we lose track of time while drawing up new ideas. Instead of trying to be some giant firm, we just focus on the projects in front of us and try to get the details right so the work actually gets finished. It gets dusty sometimes with all the site visits, but that is just part of the job. We keep things simple and just try to stay busy with the work we have.
