We are located over in Shastri Nagar at E-2/103A. Vishal Scientific & Surgical Udyog has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a bit of a mix here, partly an office and partly a storage space for all the surgical tools and scientific bits we keep in stock. If you walked in, you’d see shelves lined with all sorts of things, most of which have names that are hard to pronounce if you aren't in the trade. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi. We just want to be reliable for the people who buy from us. Some days it feels like we spend more time looking for the right size box than anything else. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don't have people in suits giving presentations. It’s usually just a few of us in regular clothes, making sure the orders are packed correctly. Shastri Nagar is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. The business was started with the idea of just supplying what was needed locally. It hasn't changed much from that initial thought. We keep things simple. No complicated systems or corporate layers. Just a small business trying to do right by the people who rely on us for their supplies. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists, but it keeps the doors open and us busy.
