Ayush Plastic

The machines at Ayush Plastic make a lot of noise during the day. We are located in Wazirpur Industrial Area at C 9/3. It’s an old building with high ceilings, but it works for what we do. We deal with plastic goods, mostly stuff people use every day but don't think much about, like small parts or containers. The floor is usually covered in little bits of scrap or dust from the molding process, no matter how much we sweep. I’ve been working here since I was much younger. It’s a busy area with trucks constantly blocking the narrow lanes outside. We have to be really careful with the loading schedules or nothing gets out on time to the buyers. The workers have their lunch break at one, and that’s the only time the place is actually quiet for a bit. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just me, a few guys on the machines, and my nephew who handles the paperwork in the small office upstairs. It’s hot work near the heaters during the summer. We just focus on getting the orders right so people don't complain later on. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to sit outside for a bit until the generator kicks in. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we get the job done. We’ve known the guys in the unit next door for over a decade now.
