You can find Jai Ambay Plastic Moulds over in Tri Nagar, specifically at 924/60 Lekhi Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze back here in these streets, but we’ve been in this corner for a long time. Our workshop is where we spend all our hours working on different molds and patterns. It’s a lot of technical work, but we talk about it in very simple terms around here. There is always the sound of grinding and the smell of cooling metal when you walk in. We aren't a massive company with a hundred employees; it’s just a small team of us who know how to handle the machinery. Most of the day is spent hunched over a workbench, making sure the edges are smooth and the shapes are exactly what they need to be. We don't really have a front office, so most people just come straight to the back where we are working. The lighting isn't the best, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the work we do is solid. People from all over Delhi send their designs to us because they know we will just get on with it without any nonsense. We keep our old tools because they still work fine, and we don't see any reason to change things that aren't broken. It’s a humble place, but it keeps us busy and we like the neighborhood.
