Rajesh Plastic Works

Out here in Mangolpuri Industrial Area Phase 1, things are always moving. Our unit is at T-2/193, and if you walk by, you’ll hear the hum of the plastic molding machines all day long. It’s a gritty place, like most of this industrial zone. We work with raw plastic materials, melting them down and shaping them into whatever the current order requires. There is always a layer of fine dust on everything, and the smell of warm plastic is something you just stop noticing after the first week. We aren't a big corporation, just a local production house trying to keep the machines running and the orders moving. My clothes usually have some grease on them by the end of the shift. We have a small crew, mostly guys from the neighborhood who know how to handle the heavy molds. The work is repetitive and can be tiring, especially when we have a big deadline. We eat our lunch together in the small shade outside the main door when the weather allows. There’s a lot of competition around here in Mangolpuri, so we just focus on getting our own work done properly. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in past the stacks of finished goods to find whoever is in charge of the machines. It’s a loud, hot, and busy environment, but it’s what we know how to do. We keep the machines going as long as there is work.
