Down here in Badli Industrial Area, things are always moving. We are at M-14 in Phase-I, and if you walk into VDS Plastics, the first thing you notice is the heat from the machines. It’s just part of the job when you work with plastic. The floors are concrete and have some stains from years of use, but we keep the workspace organized enough to get things through the line. We have a crew that’s been around for a while, and they know the rhythm of the presses better than anyone. It’s not a quiet place. There is always a thudding sound or the hum of the cooling system in the background. We have our lunch together in the small break area, mostly just talking about the news or what’s happening in the market. It’s an industrial life, really. We don’t have fancy marketing people or a big front desk. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in overalls or a dusty shirt. We deal with various plastic parts all day long. Sometimes a machine breaks down and everyone has to pitch in to fix it. That’s just how it works at VDS. We’ve seen the industrial area change a lot over the years, more traffic and more buildings popping up. But inside our four walls, the work stays pretty much the same. We just keep the production going and try to finish the day's tasks before the next shift comes in.
