Urban Living

Up here in Ashok Vihar-4, specifically over in Weavers Colony, we run our small operation called Urban Living. It is a pretty quiet area most of the time, though our spot at A-423 can get a bit hectic when we are moving new stock inside. We deal with stuff people use in their homes, mostly fabrics and things for the different rooms. It started off really small and we have tried to keep it pretty grounded. We are definitely not trying to be some massive brand you see on billboards. We just like having a spot where we can manage things properly without too much fuss. The walk to the shop is familiar to everyone who lives around here. You see the same faces every morning when we are opening up the metal shutters. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break, but usually, it is just us checking the stacks of material. We do not have a big glossy catalog to show people. If someone wants to see what we have, they usually just come over and touch the fabric for themselves. It is better that way anyway because photos never really show how things feel in your hand. We spend a lot of time making sure the piles stay neat, even if it is a losing battle. Living and working in the same general area means we know the neighbors well. It is just a normal business doing its daily thing.
