Star Photostate & Gift Gallery

We are a small outfit called Star Photostate & Gift Gallery, located at Wz-628 in Rishi Nagar. If you’ve spent any time around Rani Bagh, you probably know where we are. It’s a busy neighborhood and we fit right in with our little shop. Most of the day, you’ll hear the sound of the photostat machine running. We do a lot of copies for students and people who live in the area and need their documents sorted. Beside the copying work, we have a gallery area with gifts and small items. It started out as just a photostat place, but then we thought it would be good to have some cards and gifts too, so people had something to look at while they waited. The shop at Wz-628 isn't very big, and when we have a few people waiting for their prints, it can get a bit tight. Rishi Nagar is the kind of place where everyone knows each other, so we end up chatting with a lot of the customers. We don't have any fancy mission or anything. We just show up, open the shutters, and start the machines. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. Rani Bagh is a great place to be because there’s always something happening right outside our door. We just keep our heads down and get the work done for the locals who stop in.
