Puneet Glass Crafts

Puneet Glass Crafts is located at 587/6 in the Haiderpur area, specifically in the Ambedkar Nagar Extension. It is a bit of a dusty neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of small houses all packed in together. Our workshop is basically a big open room with large tables for cutting glass. There are always piles of glass scraps in the corners and we have to be very careful where we walk so we don't get a cut. The air always smells a bit like window putty and cleaning spray. We have been here for quite some time and the locals know they can find us if they need a mirror fixed or a window pane replaced. The walls are covered in marks where we've measured things out over the years. We don't have a sign that lights up or anything like that, just a painted board over the door that is starting to fade in the sun. It gets quite cold in the winter because the big front shutter stays open most of the day to move the large glass sheets in and out. Usually, there is a radio playing some old songs in the background while we work. It is a simple life of measuring and cutting and trying not to break anything expensive. We are just regular people making things with our hands and trying to keep the workspace organized enough to get through the day.
