Tata Refractories Ltd.

We are over at Subhash Place in Pitampura, specifically in the Gd-Itl Tower at Plot No-1102, B-08. If you know Pitampura, you know how busy this area gets with all the office buildings and people running around. Our office is up in the tower, so we get a decent view of the surroundings, though we are usually too busy with Tata Refractories Ltd. business to look out the window much. It is a standard office setup with the usual desks and computers. The elevators can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, so we’ve learned to time our breaks. Being in a big building like Gd-Itl Tower means we are surrounded by all kinds of other companies too. It’s a very different environment from a factory floor. Most of our day is spent on the phone or on the computer, coordinating things and making sure the refractory side of the business is moving along. We have a lot of files and records to keep track of. It gets a bit hectic when several things happen at once, but we just take it one task at a time. The location is good for meetings since there are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick coffee or a bite. It’s just a regular, busy office life in a crowded part of Delhi. We get here early to beat the Metro crowd and usually head out before it gets too dark outside.
