Action Ispat & Power (P) Ltd.

We operate out of House No.34 in Village Rithala, over in Delhi. It might seem a bit odd to have a business like ours in a village setting, but it works for us. We’re in the ispat and power sector, so even though this is our base, a lot of what we do involves much bigger sites elsewhere. This Rithala location is where we handle a lot of the administrative stuff and the coordination. It’s a regular house that we’ve converted into our working space, so it has a very different feel than a big glass building in the center of the city. We’ve got files everywhere and the tea kettle is usually on. Being in the 110085 area, we are close to the metro and the main roads, which helps. We don't really go for the polished look. Most of us just wear regular clothes and get on with the paperwork or the phone calls. It’s a bit crowded sometimes, and the noise from the street comes right in, but we like the atmosphere. It’s honest and down-to-earth. We don't have a lot of big speeches about what we do; we just focus on the steel and power industry and try to keep our part of it organized. If you come by House No.34, you’ll find us just working away, probably complaining about the Delhi heat or the traffic.
