Standard Electronics (India) has been sitting here at 21, Suraj Nagar in the Azadpur area for quite a long time. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. We deal with all sorts of electronic components and parts that people need for their projects or repairs. The shop is filled with little bins and boxes of wires, chips, and boards. Sometimes it looks a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we generally know where everything is kept. It’s just me and a couple of others working here, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The traffic in Azadpur can be a real headache, especially in the evenings, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a polished showroom. It’s a simple shop where you can come in, ask for a specific part, and we’ll go dig it out for you. We spend our days testing things and making sure the inventory is somewhat in order. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We usually have grease or solder on our hands. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around. We just like being the place where locals can find the electronics they need without any hassle. It's a small, practical business and that’s exactly how we like to keep it.
