Shamson Foods

Shamson Foods is located at Shop No 1/10 in Block-B of New Ashok Nagar. It is right there on Plot No 1, so it is pretty easy to find if you are walking through the lane in the Karol Bagh area. We mostly deal with snacks and packed food items that people need for their daily kitchens. It gets quite crowded in the mornings when everyone is trying to get things for breakfast or lunch boxes. I usually spend my time checking the shelves to see what is running low, like pulses or spices or those little packets of biscuits children like. The shop isn't massive, but we pack a lot into the shelves. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the narrow part of the block, so we have to carry the crates in ourselves. It keeps us busy. My cousin helps out behind the counter when things get hectic. We have a small fan in the corner that makes a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving. People from the nearby apartments come in every evening for their milk or bread. We know most of them by name since we have been in this part of town for some time. It is a noisy place with all the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on getting the orders right and making sure nobody has to wait too long in the line.
