Steel India

Steel India is located over in Village Rithala, specifically at Plot No. 152, Khasra No. 152. You have to go down Gali No. 17 to find us, and it is right near the old Pankha Factory. The street is quite narrow, so it can be a bit of a struggle when we have a big delivery of steel coming in or going out. This part of Rithala is a mix of small workshops and homes, so there is always something going on in the lane. We spend our days surrounded by metal sheets and rods. The sound of cutting and grinding steel is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives here. It is a dusty job, and our clothes are usually covered in grit by the time we head home. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come straight to the workshop in the alley. The walls are stained with grease and the floor is scarred from years of dragging heavy metal across it. We have a small table in the corner where we sit to do the paperwork and drink our morning tea. It is not the most organized place, as there are always offcuts and scrap piles in the corners, but we know exactly where everything is. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metalwork, making sure each piece is cut to the right size for the customers.
