Proweld Industries Pvt Ltd is situated at E-20 in Sector 4 of the Bawana Industrial Area. We are right near the Ganga Toli Mandir, which is the main landmark we tell people to look for. Bawana is a huge place, and it can be easy to get lost, but Sector 4 is a bit more organized. Our shed at E-20 is where all the welding happens. You’ll see the flashes of light from the welding torches all day long. There’s a distinct smell of ozone and burnt metal in the air. We wear our masks and gloves, but the heat still gets to you, especially in June. The workshop is filled with gas cylinders and metal frames waiting to be joined. We have a small office area walled off to keep the dust out, but it’s still pretty basic. The walk from the main gate of the sector can be long, so most people have their own bikes. During the rainy season, the roads around here get pretty muddy, but work doesn't stop. We get our water from the local tankers and have a small stove for making tea. It’s a practical environment for doing heavy work. There aren't any bells or whistles here at Proweld, just the tools and the people who know how to use them. It's a typical day-to-day grind in the industrial heart of the city.
