Mas Project India operates from C2/115 B on Lawrence Road. This part of the city is always humming with activity and noise. We are situated in a spot that’s easy enough to find once you get used to the way the numbering works around here. The office is a straightforward place where we handle all the logistics and planning for our projects. It isn’t a place with glass walls or high-end art; it’s more about planners, rolls of blueprints, and a few computers that have seen better days. We have a small group of people who have been working together for a long time, so we don’t really need a lot of rules to get things done. Lawrence Road can get quite dusty, especially when there’s a lot of construction going on nearby, so we are always trying to keep the windows clean. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting around the big table in the middle of the room trying to figure out the next steps for whatever task is currently on the schedule. There’s a tea shop just down the street that we frequent when the afternoon slump hits. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a corporate image. We’re just local people doing our jobs in a part of town we know very well. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out, talking about the cricket score or the weather.
