Guru Sahay Trading Company

Guru Sahay Trading Company is sitting right at 58-B in the Rishi Nagar area. If you know Rani Bagh at all, you probably know where the Garg Diary is located—we are just a short walk from there. It is a nice little spot, and it feels more like a regular neighborhood than some cold, distant business district. We trade in various types of goods, mostly things that local people need for their own shops or homes. It is not a very complicated setup we have here. We have our storage shelves, our handwritten ledgers, and a couple of plastic chairs for when friends or long-time customers drop by. We don't really believe in using high-pressure sales tactics. If we have the item you are looking for, that is great. If we don't, we usually know someone else nearby who does. The street gets a bit narrow around our place, especially when the delivery vans are trying to get through. We spend a lot of our time chatting with the folks who run the shops next door. It is the kind of place where you can actually hear the birds in the morning before the day's traffic really picks up. We have been here long enough that the kids who used to run past our door are now grown up. We keep our overhead low and our honesty as high as we can. It’s just us doing the daily inventory.
