Gandhi Steel Industries

Steel is what we know. We are based out of Rohini, specifically in Jain Extension at Sector 22. It’s more of a workshop than a showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the sound of metal being cut or welded before you even see the sign. We’ve been at this plot, A1, for a long time. The house is right there too, at House No- D1. It’s a family business, started by the elders and now we’re the ones getting our hands dirty. We make all sorts of things like gates, window frames, and basic steel structures for buildings. The floor is always covered in metal bits, so you have to watch your step. It gets really loud during the day, so we don't talk much while the machines are running. We just use hand signals mostly. We don't have any big brochures or a sales team. People just see the work we did for their neighbor and come find us. It’s honest work, even if it’s hot and exhausting. In the summers, the metal gets so warm you can't touch it without gloves. We take a long break in the middle of the day when the sun is at its worst. Then we work late into the evening when it’s cooler. It’s a lot of heavy lifting but we’re used to it by now. It's just how Gandhi Steel Industries operates, focusing on the metal and not much else.
