E L Kay Brothers

Our place, E L Kay Brothers, is situated out on Delhi Road, right around the 18 km stone. It is near Vill. Jivai in the Karanpur area of Jyotibaphule Nagar. Being out this far means we see a lot of trucks and long-distance travelers passing by throughout the day. The building is not anything special to look at, just a practical spot where we get our work done. We handle a lot of logistics and basic business stuff here. Most of our days are spent checking inventory or talking to drivers who are coming through from the main highway. It can get pretty quiet in the afternoons when the sun is high, but the mornings are usually a rush of getting things organized. We have a small office where we keep the ledgers and do the paperwork. The air is often a bit dusty because of the proximity to the road, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We are basically a family-run operation and we do not have any big corporate layers. We just show up, open the doors, and deal with whatever tasks are on the list for that Tuesday or Wednesday. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how things go around here. We just focus on our daily routine and making sure things move.
