Siya Farms

Siya Farms is situated at B-3/1 on Lawrence Road in the industrial area. It’s a busy place with trucks coming and going all the time. The air smells a bit like dust and machinery because of all the factories nearby. Our unit isn't anything special to look at. It’s a functional space where we manage things. We have a small area partitioned off for the desk work, while the rest is for storage and handling the goods. It can get pretty cold in the winter because the ceiling is high and the walls are thin. We drink a lot of chai to keep warm then. During the summer, it's the opposite and we just try to stay in the shade. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just talk to our suppliers and customers directly. The road outside is full of potholes, so driving in can be a bit of a bumpy ride. Most of the people working around here have been in the industrial area for years. We know the guys at the tea shop and the truck drivers who pass through. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks. As long as the work gets done and the orders are right, we are happy enough. It's a grit-and-grind kind of life here on Lawrence Road. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
