Shivam Dairy Farm

You can find us at 316, Amber Tower, which is part of the commercial complex over in Azadpur. Being in Azadpur means we are right near one of the biggest markets, so there is always a lot of energy and movement around us. At Shivam Dairy Farm, we deal with dairy, so our schedule is pretty much dictated by when the milk arrives and when it needs to go out. The office in the tower is where we handle all the logistics and the accounts. It’s not a very large room, and it usually smells a bit like tea and old paper. We have people coming in and out all day, from delivery drivers to local shopkeepers. It’s a bit chaotic, especially in the early hours of the morning when everything is happening at once. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or a polished reception area. We just have a bunch of phones and ledgers to keep track of. Sometimes the elevators in the building don't work, so we end up walking the stairs a lot, which keeps us busy. It’s just a regular dairy business trying to make sure the supply chain doesn’t break down. We’ve had good years and tough years, but we’re still here in the same spot. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the dairy gets to where it needs to be every morning without too much trouble.
