If you go up to the 11th floor of Aggarwal Cyber Plaza-2, you will find our office. We are Nisarg Organic Farming Produce Marketing Pvt Ltd, and being based in Netaji Subhash Place means there is always a ton of traffic downstairs. However, it gets a lot quieter once you get up to our floor in Pitampura. We spend our days talking to various farmers and trying to figure out the best way to move produce around. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes things don't go as planned. The office doesn’t look like much, just a bunch of desks and some old posters on the walls. We don’t really do the whole corporate suit-and-tie thing; most of us wear whatever is comfortable for a long day. Sometimes samples of the produce come in, and the whole place starts to smell like fresh grain or dried herbs, which is a nice change from city smells. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to make sure everything is moving where it needs to go. It gets pretty stressful when there are transport delays, but that is just part of the job. We aren’t some giant conglomerate; we are just a group of people who care about how food is grown. It is a lot of hard work, and sometimes we stay late just to finish up the paperwork on our desks. We like being in this building, even if the wait for the elevator feels like it takes forever.
