Dlf Laing O'Rourke India Limited

Our base is at KD-240 in Pitampura. We are quite close to the Kohat Enclave Metro Station, which is very handy for everyone coming in from other parts of the city. Dlf Laing O'Rourke India Limited has been in this part of New Delhi for a while now. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of shops and people moving around at all hours. Our office is just a regular building on the street. It’s not flashy at all. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through stacks of paper and digital files. We have a few rooms set up for different tasks like planning and accounts. The commute is the main thing we talk about in the mornings over coffee. Being near the metro helps a lot with that. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing. We are just a group of people trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with blueprints or folders everywhere. We try to keep it tidy but work happens fast. We eat lunch together in the back room when we can. It’s a very grounded environment. No one wears suits unless they absolutely have to for a big meeting elsewhere. Most days it’s just jeans and shirts. We focus on the practical side of our industry. If a problem comes up, we sit down and talk it through until it's fixed. That's how we've always done things here in Pitampura.
