Dlf Laing O'Rourke India Limited

Our office is tucked away in 131, Moonlight Apartment, over in Sector 20 of Rohini. It’s in Pocket 14, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren’t from around this part of Delhi. We’ve been operating Dlf Laing O'Rourke India Limited from this residential-style setup for a bit. It’s nice because it doesn't feel like a cold corporate tower. We have neighbors living right next door who we see in the hallway. You can hear the sounds of kids playing and cars honking outside our windows all day. We do our daily work here, mostly coordinating things and keeping track of our schedules. It’s a practical space for us. We have a couple of sturdy desks, some old chairs that have seen better days, and a printer that occasionally jams when we are in a huge hurry. We don't spend much time on decorations. The walls are mostly bare except for some calendars and maps. It gets pretty warm in the summer months, but we have the fans going full blast. Most of us take the metro or drive in through the morning traffic. Working in Rohini is convenient for the staff. We aren't doing anything revolutionary or fancy. We just handle the business side of things day by day. If you stop by, you'll probably see us hunched over computers or talking on the phone. It’s a straightforward operation. We just try to keep things moving.
