Dhanraj Metals

Dhanraj Metals is situated at Plot No. 1809/39 on the ground floor in Joor Bagh. This is the Tri Nagar area, right near the bus stop, so there are always people walking past the door. Being on the ground floor is handy for moving things in and out, though it does get quite loud with the buses stopping and starting just a few meters away. The space is filled with the sound of metal and the smell of the workshop. It isn't a place for suits and ties. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of grease or dust on. The floor is concrete and we have racks of material lining the walls. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff waiting to go out, but we manage to find our way around. The light coming in from the front door is the best part of the shop. We know most of the people who work in the nearby plots. Sometimes the tea seller comes around, and we take a ten-minute break on the sidewalk. It is a hardworking environment without any unnecessary fluff. We don't have a marketing department or a big sales team. It is just us here every morning, opening up the shutters and getting to work on whatever is on the list for that day. It is honest work in a busy part of town and we like it just fine the way it is.
