Dev Fabrication

Dev Fabrication is our little workshop over on Anaj Mandi Road in Tri Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city, and there’s always something going on outside our doors. We spend most of our time working with metal, doing things like welding and cutting steel to whatever size is needed for a job. The floor is usually covered in scrap pieces and dust from the grinders, but that is just how a fabrication shop looks. We handle a lot of requests for iron gates, window grills, and sometimes simple frames for shops around here. It gets quite loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other over the noise. We’ve got our tools spread out across the benches, and there is usually a smell of burnt metal in the air. People from the neighborhood bring in things that are broken and need a quick fix, or they ask for something new to be made for their houses. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty pretty fast, but it’s what we do here. The shop isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a big open space with a lot of heavy equipment. We don't have an office or anything, just the workspace where all the actual building happens. We try to get through the orders as they come in, one piece at a time, until the day is over and we lock up.
