Cotton Puff

Cotton Puff is a small business located at 163, Shakti Vihar in Pitampura. We chose this spot because it is a bit more relaxed than the city center. We mainly handle cotton-related products. Our space is filled with bags and boxes most of the time. It is a very simple operation. We have a couple of machines and some storage space. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the cotton and making sure the orders are ready for delivery. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just see us working in our regular clothes. It is an honest living. We started this because we knew a bit about the textile trade and decided to give it a go. There have been some hard months, especially when the costs of raw materials go up, but we’ve stuck with it. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep things quiet. Our staff are mostly local people who live nearby. We don't believe in long meetings or complicated strategies. We just look at what needs to be shipped today and we do it. It is a very practical way of living. We like the fact that we are a small part of the local economy here in Pitampura. It isn't glamorous work, but it is steady and it keeps the bills paid for everyone here.
