We've been here at A-28 in the Lawrence Road Industrial Area for a while now. Most people know us for the food we make, just sweets and snacks mostly. It's busy here since we're so close to the Ring Road, and there is always a lot of traffic. The kitchen stays pretty loud and there's always something going on with deliveries coming in and out. It isn't a fancy place, just a big industrial spot where we get the work done. A lot of the staff have been with us for years. We started small and things just grew over time. You can smell the sugar and spices from the street sometimes if the wind is right. We don't spend much time on fancy office work. Most of us are on the floor making sure the batches turn out okay. It’s hard work, especially in the summers when the heat gets up in the building. But it’s what we do. People come by and pick up orders, or we send them out to different shops around the city. It’s a simple setup. We keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the orders. The Lawrence Road area has changed a lot since we moved in, but we're still in the same spot, doing the same thing every day. It’s not always perfect, but we keep at it.
