We’re up in the Agarwal Metro Heights building at Netaji Subhash Place. Bejo Sheetal Seeds Pvt Ltd. is at unit 653 on the E-5 level. It’s a bit of a change being in a high-rise when your business is all about seeds and farming. You can look out the window and see the Metro trains going by and all the traffic below. Inside, the office is pretty busy. We have a lot of samples of seeds in small jars and packets everywhere. People are always calling to ask about planting seasons or how certain varieties are performing in the fields. It’s a lot of technical talk, but we try to keep it simple. The office is a bit crowded with desks and filing cabinets. We don't have a lot of decorations, just calendars and maybe a few photos of crops. Netaji Subhash Place is a very loud and crowded area, so coming into the office feels like a bit of a break from the noise downstairs. We spend a lot of our time coordinating between the researchers and the distributors. It’s not just selling seeds; it’s making sure the farmers get something that will actually grow. We’ve got a small pantry where we make tea, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen. It’s a standard office job, but the subject matter is always about the soil and the crops.
