Bawana Engines & Machines Private Limited

We are based at D-157 in Sector-4 of the D.S.I.D.C. area in Bawana. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it’s mostly factories and workshops for miles. Our building is just like the others around here, filled with engines and various machines we’re working on. It’s a big space but it feels small once you get a few large units in there. There is always a lot of clanking and the hum of motors running. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high and makes the tin roof too hot. The floors are concrete and usually have a few oil stains that never really come out. We deal with engines all day, so everything we touch is a bit greasy. It’s not a place for someone who likes to stay clean. We have shelves full of parts and old manuals that we’ve kept for years just in case. Most of our day is spent taking things apart or putting them back together. It’s slow work sometimes, especially when a part doesn’t want to fit right. We don’t have any big corporate slogans or fancy mission statements. We just show up, do the work that’s in front of us, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a tough environment but we’ve grown used to the pace of life here in Bawana. The trucks come and go with parts all through the afternoon and the day stays pretty busy until the gates close.
