We are right on the Main Ring Road at B-1, Derawal Nagar. Being on the main road means it is always loud with horns and buses passing by, but it makes it easy for the delivery trucks to find us. Our office is in an old building, and the lift is a bit temperamental, so we usually just take the stairs. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and the rooms are filled with folders dating back years. We do a lot of overseas trade, so there is always a stack of customs forms on someone's desk. We aren't big on decorations; we just have some maps on the wall and a few calendars. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing emails to people halfway across the world. It’s a lot of waiting for replies and then rushing to get things finished once the answer comes. We have a small corner where we keep the microwave and the tea supplies. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make sure the business stays steady and our clients are happy with what we send them. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the regulations and the shipping schedules, but we’ve been at it for a long time and we know how the system works.
