National High School

We have been here on Market Road for a long time now. National High School is just a regular place where kids from around Valpoi come to study. It’s right in the middle of things here in Goa, 403506. We open the gates early every morning and the noise starts as soon as the first bus pulls up. There are a lot of classrooms to keep clean and the desks always seem to need a bit of work. It is not a fancy building, but it does what it needs to do for the students. We spend most of our day making sure the hallways are clear and the kids are where they are supposed to be. Some days are busier than others, especially when there is a local event on the road outside. Living and working in Valpoi means we know most of the families who send their children here. We see the same faces at the market and on the way home. It’s just how things are in a small town like this. The teachers have their routines and the staff tries to keep the place running without too much trouble. We don't have a lot of big signs or anything. If you know where Market Road is, you know where to find us. It’s just a school like any other, trying to get through the term and making sure the kids learn a thing or two before they head home for the day.
