In Panaji, we have our Kpmg office near the Chapel of Livra Febres. If you know the area, you know it’s a beautiful and somewhat quiet part of Goa. We aren't in one of those touristy spots; instead, we are nestled in the local neighborhood near the chapel. It’s a very traditional Goan setting with narrow streets and older buildings. The chapel is the main thing people look for when they are trying to find us. We’ve been here for a while and we really appreciate the pace of life in this part of town. It’s not like the busy offices in Mumbai or Delhi. Here, things move a bit slower, which suits us just fine. You can hear the church bells sometimes and there’s always a bit of a breeze coming through. Our space is simple and functional, without any fancy furniture or expensive decor. We just have what we need to do our work. Being in Panaji means we are close to the heart of the state, but being near the Chapel of Livra Febres keeps us grounded in the local community. People usually stop by after seeing the chapel landmark. It’s just a plain, honest place to work from in Goa, and we like the local feel of the 403006 area. We don't try to be anything we're not; we just enjoy the surroundings and get our tasks done every day. It's a nice little spot for us to call home.
