Govenkar Brothers LLP is based out of Vijaya Laxmi Apartments in Alto-Pilerne. Our office is in House No. 409/8 1. We’ve been in the Porvorim area for quite some time now. It’s a good spot because we’re close to both Mapusa and Panjim. The business is run by brothers, so it’s a real family thing. We don't go for anything too fancy. We just handle property stuff and local projects. Most of our day is spent talking to people or checking on things in Tiswadi. We grew up around here, so we know the people and the land. The apartment serves as our base where we keep all the records and meet occasionally. It’s not a big corporate building, just a regular place where we get our work done. We’ve seen Porvorim grow a lot lately. There’s always something being built or fixed. We try to keep ourselves busy with the steady work that comes our way. We don't have a big mission statement; we just try to be fair and do the job like our father taught us. If the lights are on in the apartment, one of us is probably inside catching up on paperwork. It’s just us, the Govenkar brothers, doing what we know. We don't spend money on billboards. Our reputation in the neighborhood is usually enough to keep the phone ringing. We just take it day by day.
