We’ve been over here at New Horizon on D. B. Marg for a while now. Miramar is a nice spot for an office, even if the parking gets a bit tight during the busy season. I’m usually at my desk in A-2/2 most mornings before the sun gets too high. We do property development, which mostly means a lot of phone calls and looking at blueprints that never seem to stay flat on the table. It’s a lot of work getting everything lined up for a project. Some days are just spent chasing after paperwork or meeting someone at a site to see why the sand hasn't arrived. We aren't a huge team, just a few of us trying to get things built right. It’s mostly about knowing the local area and who to talk to when something gets stuck. People stop by the office sometimes just to ask about what’s going on in the neighborhood. We try to keep things simple. You won't find us wearing suits much unless there is a really big meeting, which isn't that often. We just focus on the buildings and making sure the foundations are solid. It’s honest work, even if it gets dusty sometimes. The view of the road from our window is okay, though the traffic can be loud in the afternoons. That's just how it is living and working in this part of town. We’re just here doing our job every day.
