Bicholim Progressive Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us from around the Navelim area who decided it was better to work together than on our own. We are located at Bharoni Wada, right at S. No. 77. It is a quiet spot, but there is always someone coming or going. Being in Bicholim means we are surrounded by people who have been farming for generations. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that comes with being a producer company. It isn't always easy getting everyone on the same page, but we manage. Most days you will find us at the office sorting out paperwork or talking about the latest harvest. We don't have a fancy website or a lot of glossy brochures. We just focus on the actual farming and getting our products moved. It gets dusty out here when the trucks go by, but that is part of the job. We grew up here, so we know the land and the weather patterns. Sometimes the rains are late and sometimes they are too much, and we just deal with it as a group. If you come by Bharoni Wada, you might see us sitting outside discussing the next season. We keep things honest and straightforward. No one has time for complicated speeches or big corporate goals. We are just local people trying to make a living from the earth and helping our neighbors do the same. It takes a lot of effort to keep things moving.
