Our office is located at 303 B/4 in Shetyawada, right here in Mapusa. Bardez Taluka Farmers Producer Company Limited is what we call ourselves, and we represent the farmers from all over this taluka. Mapusa is a busy place, especially on market days, and we are right in the middle of that energy. We aren't some big firm from the city; we are just locals who know the soil around Bardez. The work we do is pretty grounded. We help collect what the farmers grow and find the best ways to get it out to people. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with people coming in to talk about their harvests or ask for advice on seeds. We don't have a lot of rules about how things should look, so the place is always full of stacks of paper and maybe a few samples of grain here and there. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how you know real work is happening. We deal with the ups and downs of the seasons just like everyone else. If the rain is too heavy, we worry. If it’s too dry, we worry. But doing it as a company helps share that load a little bit. We are just trying to make sure the farming community in Bardez stays strong and that everyone gets a fair deal. No big promises or mission statements, just day-to-day effort from people who care about their land and community.
