My place is at 642 Dr Mukerjee Nagar. It’s a well-known spot because we are right near the Shitla Mata Mandir. You can usually hear the temple bells from where we sit. It’s a decent neighborhood, and being here for so long, I’ve seen kids grow up and start their own families. I started this whole thing under my own name because that’s just how it was done back then. I don’t have a big sign with flashing lights. People just know where 642 is. The work varies from day to day. Some mornings I’m busy with paperwork, and other days I’m out front talking to people who stop by. It’s not a fancy setup. I have an old desk, a couple of chairs for visitors, and a lot of files that I really should organize better. Being near the mandir means there is always a bit of a crowd around, especially on festival days. It makes the place feel alive. I don't follow any corporate rules or have a set script for when people ask what I do. I just tell them the truth. I handle whatever comes my way and try to keep things simple. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s a slow pace compared to the big city centers, but it works for me. I like being a part of this community here in Mukerjee Nagar.
