Y.Z Tools is situated at Shop Number 148 in the DDA Market over in Gokulpuri. We are right near the petrol pump, which makes it a pretty easy spot to point out to people who haven't visited us before. The market is always a bit noisy with the sound of engines and people shouting across the stalls. Our shop is filled with all sorts of tools and metal parts, and honestly, it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. There’s a distinct smell of grease and cold metal in the air, which is just how a tool shop should be. We spend a lot of time cleaning things and making sure everything is in its right drawer. Gokulpuri is a busy place, and being in the DDA Market means we see all kinds of mechanics and builders every day. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s just shelves stacked high and a counter where we talk to customers. Sometimes we have to dig around in the back to find a specific wrench or a bolt, but we usually know where everything is. The heat in the market can be tough in the summer, but we keep the shutters open for a breeze. Y.Z Tools is a straightforward operation. We open up early, help the people who come in, and close up when the sun starts to go down. It’s an honest way to spend the day in this part of town.
