Zip Corner

Zip Corner is our little shop tucked away at 5800A in Chawla Market. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded it gets every single day. We’ve been here for years, surrounded by other shops and people constantly moving back and forth with their carts. We mostly sell zippers, as the name says, but we have all sorts of small fasteners too. The shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling. Honestly, it’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is kept. If you ask for a specific size or color, we can usually dig it out for you in just a minute. It’s noisy outside with the rickshaws and vendors shouting, but inside we just focus on the customers. My brother and I run the place. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. People just walk in when they need something for their garment business or if they’re just fixing a jacket. Chawla Market is a busy place, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. We open early because the wholesale buyers like to beat the heat of the afternoon. It’s a small space, but it’s been good to us. We’ve seen a lot of shops come and go in Sadar Bazar, but we’re still here at 5800A. Stop by if you’re in the market and need a hand with anything.
