Wildlife Rescue Bird Hospital

We spend most of our time here at Ajmeri Gate dealing with injured birds that people find on the streets. It is a busy spot in Shahganj, and there's always something to do. Usually, someone walks in with a pigeon or a raptor that's had a rough time. We have been at this address for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a hospital where the focus is on getting these creatures back on their feet or wings. The noise from the street is constant outside 2970, but inside we try to keep things quiet for the patients. Sometimes the cages are full, and other days it is a bit slower, but the work never really stops. People in Delhi know where we are if they find a bird in trouble. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle wings and beaks. It can be messy and tiring work, honestly. We see all kinds of injuries, mostly from kite strings or falls. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the thick of things near the gate. We just take it day by day, fixing what we can and hoping for the best for every bird that comes through the door. It's just what happens here every single day. We keep the water bowls full and the bandages ready. It is a long day usually.
