Krishna Garden

Krishna Garden is located in Rohini Sector 17. We are right opposite the water pump, which is the main landmark people use to find us. It’s a bit of an open space here in this part of Delhi. We spend most of our time keeping the area clear and making sure everything is set up for whoever is coming by. Being in Sector 17, we get a lot of locals who live in the nearby flats. It’s not a fancy landscaped garden like you might find in some wealthy areas, but it’s our space and we take care of it. The water pump across the street makes a bit of a humming sound sometimes, but you stop noticing it after a while. We have some basic seating and a lot of open ground. Every day involves a lot of sweeping and moving things around. Delhi weather can be tough, either too hot or too dusty, so we are always adjusting things to make it more comfortable for people. We don’t have a big marketing plan or a fancy office. We just stay here on the site and handle things as they come. People know us as the place across from the pump, and that’s fine with us. It’s a quiet enough corner of Rohini compared to the main roads, and we like the pace of things here. We just focus on keeping the place open.
