Chhavi Vivah Kendra

Our office is located on the second floor of a DDA flat in Angoori Bagh, near Ajmeri Gate. It’s at S-39, and it’s a fairly quiet spot considering how busy the rest of Delhi can be. We help people with marriage arrangements, which is what a Vivah Kendra does. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls or modern furniture. It’s just a room where we keep our records and talk to families who come in looking for matches. Most of our work involves sitting down with parents and discussing what they are looking for. We’ve been doing this from this location for quite some time now. People find us through word of mouth or because they live in the nearby flats. It’s a very personal type of work, so we try to keep things grounded and honest. We don’t make big promises or use fancy software to do our job. We just listen to people and try to help them out as best as we can. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit steep, but once you’re inside, it’s a calm place to talk. We aren't some big corporation; we are just a small local setup helping families in the Ajmeri Gate area. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking, but it’s important work for the people who come to see us. We’re just here every day, doing what we do, and we’re glad to help the community in this small way.
