Vijay Cold Drinks

If you’ve ever been down to the Scooter Market at Mori Gate, you know how loud and busy it gets. We are right there at Shop No 10 on the ground floor. It’s called Vijay Cold Drinks, but honestly, people just know us as the spot to grab a quick soda or a bottle of water while they’re waiting for their bike repairs to finish up. It’s a small space, mostly filled with crates and the big fridge humming in the corner. My father started this years ago, and not much has changed since then. We don’t have fancy seating or air conditioning, just the usual stools for whoever wants to sit for five minutes and catch their breath. The market is always dusty and full of mechanics, so a cold drink really helps when the sun is beating down on the street. We keep the fridge stocked with whatever is popular, and we know most of the guys working in the other shops around here. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to mess with the backup, but that’s just how it is in Mori Gate. We aren't trying to be anything big. Just a shop where you can get something cold and wet when you're thirsty. It’s a lot of work staying open all day in the heat, but seeing the same people every day makes it okay. Shop No 10 is always open until late evening.
