Vardhman Steel Centre

Vardhman Steel Centre is located in Deputy Ganj, which is a part of the big Sadar Bazar market. We deal in all kinds of steel items like plates, tiffins, and buckets. If you walk into our shop, you’ll see stacks of metal everywhere. It can be a bit overwhelming because there isn't much empty space left. The sound of steel clinking is the background noise of our lives. Sadar Bazar is a tough place to work because it’s always crowded and dusty, but it is also where all the action is. We spend our days helping customers find the right size of pot or a set of spoons. It’s not a polished store with bright lights; it’s a working warehouse-style shop. We don't have a team of sales people, just us and a couple of helpers to move the heavy boxes. We know the price of steel like the back of our hands and we don't waste time with long talks. We just do the math on a piece of paper and give the total. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We’ve been in Deputy Ganj for a long time and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we just keep doing what we do. At the end of the day, we pull down the heavy metal shutter and head home, ready to do it all again tomorrow. It’s just how we live and work here in this part of Delhi.
