We are located at 685 Chowk Bara Tooti in Sadar Bazar. If you have ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded and lively it is. Our shop is right in the middle of it. We deal in different kinds of metals. There are piles of sheets and rods everywhere. It is a small space for the amount of stock we try to keep, so it gets a bit cramped. We spend our days talking to suppliers and customers who come in from all over the city. It is loud out on the street with the rickshaws and people shouting, but we are used to it. We do not have a fancy showroom. We just have the metal and a scale to weigh it. We have been at this spot for a long time. Our family has been in the metal trade for generations, so it is just what we do. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the delivery trucks to navigate the narrow lanes of the bazaar. Sometimes it takes hours just to get a truck to the door. We do not use any complicated systems, just a notebook and some old calculators. It is a traditional way of doing business and it suits the atmosphere of Bara Tooti. We know our regulars by name and they know they can find us here six days a week, just doing our job. We are not interested in moving to a modern office. This shop is home for us.
