Metal Craft

Our place is at Building No. 10, taking up both the ground and first floor on Lane No. 12. We are deep in Harijan Colony in Bhalswa Village. If you know where the Sai Baba Mandir is, then finding us is pretty easy because we are right near it. Metal Craft is basically just a bunch of us working with our hands all day. It gets noisy and there is usually a lot of dust from the grinding and cutting. We have the heavy stuff on the ground floor because moving it up the stairs is a pain. The first floor is where we keep the finished pieces and some of the lighter tools. It is not the most organized looking spot, but we know where everything is. The heat in the summer gets tough in the colony, so we usually have a few fans going all the time. Being in Bhalswa means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We do not really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just walk in or hear about us from a neighbor. Sometimes the trucks have trouble getting into Lane 12 because it is narrow. We just deal with it as it comes. It is a simple setup for a simple business. We spend most of our time just focusing on the metal in front of us. It is hard work but we are used to it by now. We close up when the sun goes down.
