Unique Instruments

Down in Shastri Nagar, specifically on Street Number 3, you’ll find our place at M-58. Unique Instruments is what’s painted on the front, though the paint is peeling a little at the edges now. It’s a busy little street and sometimes it’s hard for the bigger trucks to navigate the turns. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves filled with various instruments and parts. We spend a lot of time checking numbers and making sure the labels haven't fallen off. It’s not very glamorous work, to be honest. There’s always a faint smell of metal and maybe some old oil in the air. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People usually just come by because they know where we are or they’ve heard we have what they’re looking for. The lighting in the back isn't the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps. Sometimes we sit around the small table in the front and have our lunch while watching the traffic go by outside. It’s a lived-in space. There are stacks of paperwork that need filing, but we usually prioritize the actual equipment first. Being in Shastri Nagar means we’re close to everything, which helps. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It’s just how we operate here at M-58, nothing more and nothing less. It's a simple life of managing inventory and answering the door for deliveries.
