Union Metals (India)

Located at 548/18 in Kucha Pati Ram, our small place here in Bazar Sita Ram has been part of the metal trade for quite a while. Union Metals (India) isn't a big factory or anything like that. It’s a workplace where we handle various metal supplies and orders. The lanes here are narrow, so getting stuff in and out can be a real headache sometimes. You have to know the shortcuts to get around the crowds. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and talking to regular buyers who have been coming to this area for decades. It is noisy and there is always the smell of metal in the air, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We don’t use any fancy flyers or advertisements. Most people find us because they were walking through the bazar and saw the sign or someone told them where to go. We keep things pretty simple. There is a desk, some chairs, and stacks of material everywhere you look. It’s a bit dusty, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the counts are correct. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around here well. It feels like home even when it’s chaotic and the street is blocked by a cart.
